Jeeps

Green jeep is back and running good. we had a lot of over due work done on it. Should be in tip top shape for quite a while. We also put a new winch on it that Ricky and promptly put to good use on its first trip out.

Penny and Travis and families are planning a trip to The Cabin Thanksgiving week.  Ricky can no longer make it then.  I can't seem to post it on the calendar.

Penny

Cabin

No problems at cabin. Everything seems to be in order. Inventory has been updated. Only possible future issue is the stove pipe in kitchen. It is rusting through pretty good right at stove. It can probably be patched again as it gets a little worse but we will eventually need to get a new one.

Green jeep ran pretty good in January. It was missing a little but not enough to mess with it, ran about like it usually does. Din't use pink jeep. My yellow jeep is there and available for use in the butler building. Key should be in the ignition.

Cabin Propane

Propane was very low. took it in for Nacho to refill. You may want to call ahead to make sure he got it filled before you get there.

Cabin door

Hot water supply line

Betty posted March 25, 2011: The hot water supply line from the cut-off valve to the faucet was busted (in the guest room). Since we were a day ahead of Johnny, he brought a new one and replaced it.

Propane

Pink jeep exhaust

Betty posted  March 25, 2011: Exhaust in pink & blue needs to be fixed - fumes getting into cab. We didn't use it March 13 because we were concerned of getting sick.

Kitchen propane line

Ricky posted  March 25, 2011: Gas line to the two burner stove from the outside propane tank in the kitchen has been removed for replacement. It had been kinked and was leaking gas. I'll fix it and bring it to the beach in April to give to whomever goes up there next.

New battery

Cabin Blog

New postings to the Cabin blog show up here and will be listed newest first. these can also be searched. I'm not sure if maybe we should start using this method (since that's really what it was designed for) to comment on repairs, problems, etc. instead of the page we had built specifically for that. On that page, we are merely commenting on the initial post of the page and that is why they are sorted that way. those can't be searched either from the look of it.
